Since the video above was completed, I have also finished hippoARK. The video below shows it sparking in the sunshine of May 2025 at Chirnside in the Scottish Borders
hippoARK will now go to Washington New Town, near Sunderland in Tyne & Wear, England – as a focal point for environmental art workshops, in which people will reconstruct a more symbolic way of speaking.
Then the work will be sold to raise funds for The Turgwe Hippo Trust in Zimbabwe, who do such wonderful work in protecting hippos and other wild animals from the droughts of climate change.
